Creating instruction to facilitate management an important in teaching. Building lessons that aid in self-motivation will benefit the students and teachers in overall success. All students need structure and routine especially when working with at risk students. Creating a self-managing classroom will expand productivity, allow for more peer-to-peer work time, and increase overall interest. It is important to communicate expectations directly. Students as well as their parents will sign a classroom expectation sheet.

Utilizing differentiation in the classroom.
Scaffolding for students on both sides of the scale as well as all points in between. It provides all students with a framework to accomplish a task. Scaffolding builds a foundation for students to grow assists them with tools they need to succeed equitably. Some examples of differentiation in my classroom:

Do not talk while the teacher is talking (show respect). Students are expected to listen to others, give and receive feedback, as well
show appropriate body language.
