ELEMENT A: Teachers demonstrate that they analyze student learning, development and growth and apply what they learn to improve their practice.
Another page of field notes from my observations. These are pertinent because they outline strategies and techniques teachers can used to better their relationship with students in the classroom. These build on routine and system, which aid in understanding student comprehension. They set the tone in the classroom and build on development and growth of students. For example the “threshold” technique is greeting students at the door on their way in. This sets the tone for the day and builds upon trust and overall classroom respect.
ELEMENT B: Teachers link professional growth to their professional goals.
ELEMENT C: Teachers are able to respond to a complex, dynamic environment.
